NCERT LDC 2016 Pattern

NCERT will be holding the exam for recruitment to position of Lower Division Clerks this year with 70 vacant spots up for competition. All the candidates who have filled their applications are now anxious to know what exactly the NCERT LDC EXAM PATTERN 2016 is so that they can be prepared. The NCERT LDC EXAM SYLLABUS 2016 with NCERT LDC EXAM PATTERN 2016 is now officially announced so that the applicants can prepare accordingly. The NCERT CLERK SYLLABUS 2016 is for the exam to be held for the NCERT headquarters in Delhi, Bhubaneshwar,Bhopal and Mysore.

NCERT LDC 2016 Syllabus

The paper will be conducted in two parts- written test and skill test. The written test will be of 3 hours duration and will have 150 marks. The written Test will further have two types of questions – Objective type and descriptive.

  1. In the objective section will be 50 questions from General English and General Knowledge
  2. The Descriptive questions will be based on Written English
  3. The written exam will hold 150 marks total with three sections – General English ,General Knowledge and Written English each having 50 marks.
  4. All the candidates who qualify the NCERT LDC WRITTEN TEST 2016 will be shortlisted and called for SKILL Test where the Typing Speeds of these candidates will be tested.
  5. The minimum requisite typing speed is 35 w.p.m in English or 30 w.p.m in hindi.

NCERT LDC 2016 Syllabus

For the written test the paper will be equally divided into three sections, each section holding 50 marks.


Current Events – National & International, Culture & Heritage – India, Geography – India, General Politics, History – India,Science & Technology, Economy,Environmental Studies,Current Affairs – National & International.


Noun, Adverbs, Conjunctions, prepositions , Sentence Rearrangement, Verb, Pronouns, Synonyms, Antonyms Subject verb etc.
