UJVNL means Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited. It a government organization and is owned and controlled by the state government of Uttarakhand. The main purpose of this organization is the production of hydroelectric power in the state. The organization also releases various notifications for the job recruitment.

This year also they released a notification for the recruitment of Assistant Engineer (AE) and Junior Engineer (JE). In total there are 311 unoccupied seats for these posts. For the recruitment, a written examination will be held. The candidates who will crack the written exam, later they will be called for an interview.

The exam syllabus will be as follows.

  • The exam will be divided in four sections.
  • In the first section questions will be asked from the
  • General Knowledge
  • Current affairs
  • Reasoning questions will be asked.
  • In the second section the questions will be from mathematics. Questions like division, simple interest, compound interest etc. will be asked.
  • In the third section questions will be asked from reasoning.
  • In the fourth section the questions will be asked from the selected post and aptitude.

The exam pattern will be as follows.

  • The exam will be a written examination.
  • For JE, 50 questions will be asked from technical side and 126 from general.
  • For AE, 50 questions will be asked from general aptitude and 130 from technical.
  • The exam will conduct MCQ’s only.
  • Only objective questions will be there and no subjective questions will be asked.
  • No negative marks will be rewarded for the wrong answer.
